Rudy Project has become the official eyewear supplier of the UTMB World Series until 2027. Eight technical and lifestyle models were revealed during the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc finals, and will be available at UTMB Shops and on Rudy Project’s website starting October.
The collection includes eight models made in Italy and branded with the UTMB identity, either laser-etched on the lenses or printed on the temples. They feature photochromic lenses, optical solutions for prescription users, and high-performance details like ventilation, ultra-lightweight frames, and secure fit—even under extreme race conditions.
The Astral Sphere and Spinshield Pro are designed for demanding athletes. The Astral Sphere offers spherical photochromic lenses for optimal peripheral vision, while the Spinshield Pro is lightweight, ventilated, and stylish. Both are compatible with Rudy Project’s optical inserts for prescription use.
Several models—Astral X, Spinshield Pro, and Propulse—support optical inserts, allowing athletes to use corrective lenses without sacrificing performance. The ImpactRX photochromic prescription technology ensures visibility in changing light conditions during long-distance races.
The Spinair 57 brings a lifestyle touch to the collection. Many models use Rilsan Clear, a bio-based polymer made from castor oil. This aligns with Rudy Project’s RideToZero commitment, a sustainability approach aimed at reducing environmental impact across production and design processes.
The collection is available at UTMB Shops during races and on Rudy Project’s website starting in October 2025. Each pair includes a UTMB World Series branded case, reinforcing its connection to the global trail community.
This eyewear line represents a fusion of sports tech, Italian design, and trail culture. With guaranteed visibility through 2027 and premium distribution, it marks a key step in trail runners’ gear evolution.
