On the temple of Mbappé’s glasses, Oakley engraves the coordinates of Bondy

Oakley's Players Collection just added a new chapter. The Oakley Mbappé glasses and Jaylen Brown's signature series have dropped — two collections whose distinction has less to do with aesthetics than with the stories they carry.

Permian Kylian Mbappé Signature Series: a frame that speaks of Bondy

The Oakley Mbappé glasses take the shape of the Permian, a deep-lens construction fitted with Prizm™ Road lenses. On the surface, it is a performance eyewear piece. But it is on the temple that the object shifts into something more personal: the geographic coordinates of Bondy are engraved there — quiet, precise, and loaded with meaning. Mbappé's logo is integrated directly into the lens.

"Style is a signature. These glasses carry my roots, reflect my journey and define the way I move forward."

Highland Jaylen Brown Signature Series: the cocoa palette as identity

On Jaylen Brown's side, it is the Oakley Highland that anchors the series, fitted with Prizm™ Ruby lenses. The frame sits within an exclusive cocoa brown palette — a signature colour developed specifically for this collection, extending across the entire apparel line.

And this is a first: Oakley is launching its first-ever sport apparel collection integrated into an athlete signature series. Parka, vest, trousers, cap — each piece carries Brown's personal logo and follows the same modular logic, designed to move seamlessly from urban to outdoor.

"For me, everything is connected: performance, creativity, identity."

The Players Collection as a method

What links these two launches is the process. The Players Collection is not a standard marketing collaboration: athletes are co-creators, and aesthetic decisions — colours, engravings, materials — come from a personal brief, not a brand one. Oakley had already established this approach with Alexia Putellas. With Brown and Mbappé, the reach becomes global.

The collection has been available since May 5, 2026 on oakley.com and at selected retailers worldwide.

Meta Glasses: EssilorLuxottica and Meta launch a standalone AI eyewear brand

On June 23, 2026, Meta and EssilorLuxottica unveiled Meta Glasses, a new line of smart eyewear. After Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta, it is the first time the wearable carries Meta’s own name — a sign that connected eyewear is establishing itself as a standalone optical category rather than a piece of technology grafted onto […]

Linda Farrow Iconic Collection: 1970 Heritage, Engineered for Today

Linda Farrow doesn’t do nostalgia. With the Iconic Collection, the British house revisits its founding vocabulary — the forms that defined it in 1970 — and reengineers them for a generation that never saw the originals. This is not a reissue. It is a restatement. A Return to Origins That Refuses to Romanticise Founded in […]

EssilorLuxottica 2026: The Stock Market Crash of a Company with Record Sales, Explained

There is something almost paradoxical about EssilorLuxottica’s stock market trajectory in 2026. The group continues to post sales figures most companies would envy — +11.7% at constant exchange rates in Q3 2025, +11.2% for the full year, and +10.8% again in Q1 2026. Yet over six months, its share price has erased more than 40% […]

Paloceras Nouvelle Fiction Sun: The Pebble Series Goes Solar

What Paloceras built with the Pebble series, then translated into prescription eyewear with Nouvelle Fiction optical, now reaches its third chapter: a sunglasses collection that preserves the house’s sculptural grammar while turning it toward the light. Nouvelle Fiction Sun is not a spin-off. It is a continuation — on its own terms. From Optical to […]

Oakley Jackets 2026: When Performance Becomes Aesthetic

Thirty years after their debut, Oakley Jackets are no longer just evolving. They are redefining what sports eyewear can be — and what it represents. In 1994, Oakley introduced a frame that didn’t exist before. Wraparound, bold, engineered not to please but to perform. In 2026, that same mindset expands into a broader vision: a […]

Dolce & Gabbana Devotion SS26 Eyewear: when the heart becomes a signature

Rome, at the end of the day. Light moves across the façades, catches the acetate, then settles on a gold detail: a heart. With Dolce & Gabbana Devotion SS26 eyewear, the Italian house shapes a collection where the gaze becomes a language, and emotion takes the form of a symbol that is instantly recognizable. Here, […]
