The SS25 eyewear collection showcases horn silhouettes, acetate accented with metal, clip systems for the Japan-exclusive line, and a statement model engraved with a designer quote along the upper front. Shown on the runway, several women’s and men’s frames carry Armani’s signature diamond emblem and polished lacquer finishes.
A vocabulary of bold horn shapes, acetate enhanced with metal details, engineered clip-on systems for the Japan line, and reissued icons; one frame bears a designer quote engraved on the upper front. It’s a synthesis of Armani elegance and the taste for signature objects.
On the sunwear side, the AR8241U (large bio-acetate frame with gold stripes and wavy metal accents) and the AR8239 (pilot style with a bold acetate build and gold-metal inlay) appeared on the runway. The AR8241U comes in black-gold, beige-gold, and coral-gold; the AR8239 is offered in four glossy finishes.
The AR8240, a round, sophisticated frame in full horn with metal nose pads, laser-engraved temples, and a small light-gold diamond on the tips, comes in white horn with brown lenses. The AR8230U, a panto silhouette in bio-acetate, features the quote “Eleganza significa essere ricordati” engraved along the top front. The Icon line (AR8237) updates a classic with the diamond wrapping both the front and temples.
The AR7270T panto (Takiron acetate) combines a front with metal clip, diamond accents at the edges, and temples engraved with the kanji “Eternal Beauty,” offered in glossy black/gray-smoke clip or striped green/green clip. The AR8236U reinterprets the pilot with a double bridge and diamond wrap in two Havana tones. The AR7279 optical carries the same codes in bio-acetate, with logo tips and diamond emblem.
The AR7271T square (Made in Japan) pairs a Takiron acetate front with a gold diamond emblem, fine metal temples engraved with “Eternal Beauty” in kanji, titanium nose pads, and laser-engraved tips, in black or striped green. The AR7278U panto optical adds a metal double bridge, the iconic diamond, and a GA monogram at the tips, in yellow or red Havana. Materials include bio-acetate with at least 67% bio-based carbon, nylon with 40%, and horn as a byproduct recovered at the end of the animal’s life.
Because SS25 distills Armani’s runway codes (strong silhouettes, metal inlays, diamond emblem) while signaling a focus on materials (bio-acetate, bio-based nylon, horn) and a manifesto piece with the designer’s quote — clear markers of the season’s design direction.

Linda Farrow doesn’t do nostalgia. With the Iconic Collection, the British house revisits its founding vocabulary — the forms that defined it in 1970 — and reengineers them for a generation that never saw the originals. This is not a reissue. It is a restatement. A Return to Origins That Refuses to Romanticise Founded in […]
There is something almost paradoxical about EssilorLuxottica’s stock market trajectory in 2026. The group continues to post sales figures most companies would envy — +11.7% at constant exchange rates in Q3 2025, +11.2% for the full year, and +10.8% again in Q1 2026. Yet over six months, its share price has erased more than 40% […]
What Paloceras built with the Pebble series, then translated into prescription eyewear with Nouvelle Fiction optical, now reaches its third chapter: a sunglasses collection that preserves the house’s sculptural grammar while turning it toward the light. Nouvelle Fiction Sun is not a spin-off. It is a continuation — on its own terms. From Optical to […]
Thirty years after their debut, Oakley Jackets are no longer just evolving. They are redefining what sports eyewear can be — and what it represents. In 1994, Oakley introduced a frame that didn’t exist before. Wraparound, bold, engineered not to please but to perform. In 2026, that same mindset expands into a broader vision: a […]
