The brand was established in 2006 by Andreas Pirkheim and Wolfgang Scheucher with the aim of merging local, traditional eyewear craftsmanship and innovative, modern design. Today, its creations are worn in 69 countries.
Each pair is handmade using high-quality materials such as natural acetate and partially recycled metals, assembled with meticulous attention to detail. The logo is discreetly printed inside the temples.
The range includes several collections: AWearness (modular and sustainable acetate and metal frames), Elevated, Trend, Core, and Iconic Combination, available in acetate and metal.
Acetate frames are handmade in the brand’s Hartberg, Austria workshop through a detailed artisanal process including cutting, polishing, assembly, and strict quality control. Metal frames are produced in France’s Jura region, renowned for eyewear know-how. The AWearness collection uses recycled materials and modular designs to promote repair and recycling.
The brand is present in 69 countries through selected eyewear retailers and authorized points of sale.
