Founded by designer Azzedine Alaïa, the Alaïa fashion house built its legacy on designs that enhance the female silhouette with precision, sensuality, and attention to detail. In 2018, the brand officially entered the eyewear segment through a collaboration with Kering Eyewear. Since then, Alaïa eyewear has embodied the brand’s couture identity—elegant, sensual, and sophisticated eyewear pieces.
Alaïa frames feature a sculptural design language, often feminine, sensual, and bold—echoing the brand’s couture philosophy. Materials include premium acetate and metal constructions with polished or semi-matte finishes. Stylistic codes reflect the female form with graceful curves, balanced volumes, and elegant silhouettes, staying true to the house’s minimalist and refined design sensibility.
The Alaïa eyewear range includes both optical and sunglasses. Optical collections offer sleek rectangular or oval frames made from noble materials, continuing the house’s couture-driven design ethos.
