Michael Kors renews his humanitarian commitment with the World Food Programme through a solidarity campaign: a limited-edition T-shirt, with 100% of profits funding school meals in food-insecure regions. This initiative extends a decade-long partnership focused on real, measurable action against global hunger.
The campaign aims to raise funds to provide nutritious school meals in regions affected by food insecurity. In 2025, 100% of the profits from the sale of limited-edition T-shirts go directly to the World Food Programme. The dual objective is to feed children and support local economies through community-based agriculture.
The project is being implemented in Sri Lanka, the pilot country for a school meal program based on local agriculture. The initiative provides daily meals to 250,000 children, supports 1,500 local farmers (mainly women), and upgrades 30 schools with solar panels, modern kitchens, and improved classrooms to enhance the learning environment.
This special edition includes two models made from cotton and linen, featuring photographs of fruits and vegetables taken in Sri Lanka by photographer Maxime Poiblanc. The T-shirts are priced at €35 ($40), available on michaelkors.com and selected boutiques worldwide. Michael Kors has also pledged a minimum donation of $1 million to the WFP by September 30, 2026.
This approach creates a virtuous cycle: children receive healthy, consistent meals; local farmers gain stable income, tools, and training; and communities grow more resilient. By linking school kitchens directly to regional producers, the program boosts food autonomy and long-term sustainability.
Michael Kors is personally involved. He recently visited WFP headquarters in Rome to reaffirm his commitment, meet with leadership, and deepen the partnership. His active support—recognized by the McGovern-Dole Leadership Award—adds emotional and strategic weight to the initiative.
Because it proves how fashion can drive real-world impact. The 2025 campaign strengthens a decade of action, reminding us that every purchase can help feed thousands of children worldwide.
