After weeks of teasing, Oakley has officially revealed its complete Meta Performance AI lineup. These connected glasses combine Meta's smart tech with Oakley's iconic sports design and are built for active and everyday use.
This is a new category of smart eyewear, featuring a 3K camera, open-ear speakers, IPX4 water resistance, and voice assistant compatibility. Battery life reaches 8 hours on a single charge, with a charging case providing up to 48 extra hours. Designed for performance, the frame uses Oakley’s signature PRIZM lenses for optimal clarity and contrast.
The full range includes several variations of the HSTN frame: classic black with PRIZM Grey lenses, sportier versions with PRIZM Ruby or Sapphire, and a limited edition with 24K Polar lenses and gold details. Some models include photochromic lens options, and all feature interchangeable temples.
Oakley and Meta clearly target active, tech-savvy users—athletes, runners, cyclists, and lifestyle enthusiasts who want performance features, smart functions, and an uncompromising design. These glasses offer hands-free photo and video, music streaming, calls, and smart assistant access.
This collaboration with Meta reflects Oakley’s shift toward smart innovation. The brand is positioning itself as a leader in connected eyewear by merging cutting-edge technology with its legacy in sport-focused design and performance optics.
Backed by a global campaign featuring Kylian Mbappé and Patrick Mahomes, the range has generated strong buzz. The limited edition was available for pre-order starting July 11, while standard models are rolling out this summer. Early reviews highlight the glasses’ lightweight feel and sound quality, though low-light video capture could be improved.
Because it marks the first time a major performance eyewear brand offers such a complete connected collection — combining advanced tech, sporty style, and functional intelligence in one bold move.
